Blue Flowers
Head of Comms
Derived from the UK’s skate scene, you may know the brand from being stocked in Manchester’s skate-wear stalwart, Note on Thomas Street and leading fashion-cum-concept retailer END Clothing. There has been collabs with no-nonsense, rap-punk duo Sleaford Mods, with Jason Williamson even announcing the new era via social media in April 23’.
The brand that has already had critical acclaim in publications like Hypebeast, Complex magazine and Proper Mag. Blue Flowers can be found in concept stores as such as END Clothing and Manchester skatewear stalwart, Note.
The brand’s values have always been strongly earth-conscious, with them recently winning a PETA award for Best Menswear brand for 2022. Their efforts towards sustainability ring true to this day, with 3 trees planted for every item purchased.
Blue Flowers is still an effortless celebration of yester-year with nods to 60’s & 70’s design with a gentle lean towards the historical textile foundations of Manchester with the brand being known for their boxy corduroy garms.
My role within the business is to ensure that each area is running as smoothly as possible.
Whether that be in the day to day running, helping with the development of new collections, assisting with art direction and co-ordinating shoots and working across the brands comms in marketing and PR.
